UNIQUE POSTCARD FORMAT
It even folds up into a postcard, ready to mail our with our adhesive mail tabs (3 per invite) or our Eco-envelopes. These are premium translucent envelopes, best of all, made from plants! These are included for plantable paper All-in-Ones but can be added to your recycled paper order for an additional cost. But not to worry, our Mountain Birch Seal n' Send invitation will hold together with our super adhesive mail tabs, on the woodsy 100% recycled paper. Add one sticker in the middle of the top flap, then two around the sides, making a half circle on the front and back of the now ready-to-mail postcard!
Postage
Let's talk postage! Now you may want to talk to your local Post Office clerk, because we've heard different stories from customers in different parts of the country. You may be able to get away with a regular First Class (currently $0.49) stamp, but here's what we recommend:
Hand Stamping
Our preferred stamping is $0.71. The reason we suggest paying the extra pennies is due to hand canceling.
Hand canceling basically means that your invitations will be processed by hand rather than being run through the Postal Service’s automated machines. Since wedding invitations are often thicker than most other mail that the post office handles, hand canceling helps to avoid damage to your invitations that can be caused by getting caught or jammed in the machines. However each post office handles hand canceling differently which is why I recommend inquiring first. Your post office may only require $0.49 so just be sure to ask how much it will be to have the invitations hand cancelled.
Detachable RSVP cards
Detachable RSVP cards, printed with your return address, are ready for mailing for your guests. Make it even easier on your guests' and twist their arm to attend by placing stamps on the RSVP postcard. Easy Peasy!
Matching Thank you cards
Now that you've got your invites out, your guest list compiled from your RSVP cards, all you need to do is show your gratitude! A birch tree trunk with it's pretty white bark provides the perfect background for your outstanding wedding invitations and matching thank you cards. Printed on premium 100% recycled paper with complimentary recycled envelopes included.
